i like the shutter of a camera. it's telling me something. tells me that i made a memory. whether just one, or continuous, it captures life. life, that doesn't stop it's motion. but to be captured is to be completely still. and when i pull back from the camera, life is still going on. then i examine what i've just captured, and it's a statue. like still motion. photography is a gift that i will cherish, because it contains the things i don't want to let go of. never to take for granted.
