When I was little, one of my favorite things when it snowed was making snow ice cream. We always had to make sure to get the snow directly after the snowfall, though, because multiple times it was cluttered with dirt or covered in footprints. Since it snowed yesterday afternoon and the forecast for tomorrow read 63, I figured this was the last chance for snow ice cream. My little sister was happy to help in the preparations.
INGREDIENTS:
Milk
Sugar
Vinilla
Sprinkles [optional]
1. Gather a bowl of snow.
[WARNING: yellow snow is bad. So is dirty snow]
2. Pour enough milk in to make it a bit soupy.
3. Add vanilla and sugar according to taste.
4. Add sprinkles if you'd like.
5. Enjoy!
Have you ever made snow ice cream?

i'm jealous of your snow cream ability. if anything, here in texas we'd get humid cream. or sun cream. both equal sweat. not cool. but who needed to know that! great post ;)

ha. I just pulled her outside for a few seconds to take a couple of pictures. The sun was shining, too, and no wind. So it wasn't crazy bad. :)
Deletelaugh out loud moment: "WARNING: yellow snow is bad."
ReplyDeleteThis looks so yummy! Too bad I'll probably have to wait until next winter to try it out!
ReplyDeleteYES. This is what we were eating in this post. Although sprinkles? So trying that next time it snows. Sprinkles make everything better.
ReplyDeletep.s.
ReplyDeleteYour sister is the cutest. ;)
I tried this once... but it didn't really turn out that well (too much vanilla I think). I love the background in that last photo! :)
